As you are aware the government is pressing hard to ensure that all “Responsible Persons” comply with fire regulations. At CFS we are more than aware that housing associations don’t have the staffing levels and extra time to deal with all this extra work load.

- Fire door inspections
CFS can help you to comply with new regulations by arranging to visit your properties, at regular intervals and inspect your fire doors. We will produce a detailed dated pictorial condition report along which with detail description of any work that is required to bring your fire doors up to BS8214. You can then simply use this report to gain competitive quotes from your contractors. The British Standards provides information on the guidelines and requirements of which you need to aspire to as different buildings will need higher standards than normal, therefore they will need better emergency lighting.
